The Verkhovna Rada Committee discussed amendments to the legislation to protect ports

The bill was developed for operational financing, increasing the level of air defense, engineering and technical protection of seaports.

The Subcommittee on Maritime Transport considered the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Seaports of Ukraine” No. 15063 regarding strengthening the protection of ports and logistics security.

The Chairman of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, Yuriy Kisel, emphasized that the bill was developed for operational financing of protection measures, increasing the level of air defense, engineering and technical protection of seaports.

“Following the results of the discussion, we decided to finalize the document within the Working Group and the Subcommittee on Maritime Transport.
