The water area of Ust-Dunaisk port is planned to be expanded
The Cabinet of Ministers plans to increase the volume of processing of Danube ports. In particular, it is proposed to expand the boundaries of the water area of the Ust-Dunaisk port.
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to expand the boundaries of the water area of the port of Ust-Dunaisk. Corresponding changes were made in the appendix “Boundaries of the water area of the Ust-Dunaisk sea port” to the resolution of the CMU dated 07.10.2009 N 1274 “On the boundaries of the water area of the Ust-Dunaisk sea port”. Deputy representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Taras Melnychuk, reported this, writes CTS .
For example, new anchorages will appear near the mouth of Bystre for the raid transshipment of grain products to “Panamax” type vessels. The new rules will apply during the period of martial law and for 3 months after its termination.
Officials hope the decision will help increase processing volumes at Danube Cluster ports during martial law.
