Trump approved bipartisan sanctions bill against Russia, says Senator Graham

The document provides for the introduction of new tools to punish countries that buy Russian oil.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, after a meeting with US President Donald Trump, received approval to advance a bipartisan bill on sanctions against Russia. He reported this in X.
According to Graham, the document, which he worked on together with Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, provides for tools to punish countries that buy Russian oil, increasing the financing of the war against Ukraine. This is an additional lever of influence on China, India and Brazil.
The senator called the decision timely, noting that “Ukraine is making concessions for the sake of peace, while Putin continues to kill innocents.” He expects broad bipartisan support for the bill next week.
The day before, USM wrote that the United States is preparing to indict the crew of the shadowy tanker under the Russian flag Bella 1.
