Tuapse port halts fuel exports after drone attack — Reuters

As a result of the drone strike, the Rosneft refinery in Tuapse stopped working, and the export of oil products through the port has been completely stopped.

The Russian port of Tuapse on the Black Sea has suspended the export of oil products after the attack by Ukrainian drones that occurred on November 2, Reuters writes.

According to the agency, after the strike, the Rosneft oil refinery in Tuapse completely stopped oil processing.

The plant in Tuapse is one of the key oil refineries in Russia, with a daily capacity of up to 240 thousand barrels of oil. The enterprise is export-oriented and produces petroleum gas, fuel oil, vacuum gas oil and diesel with a high sulfur content. The main sales markets are China, Malaysia, Singapore and Turkey.

According to LSEG, at the time of the attack, several tankers were near the port berths, loading petroleum gas, diesel fuel and fuel oil. After the attack, all ships were diverted from their berths and anchored near the port.

According to Reuters, Tuapse planned to increase fuel exports in November before the attack.

As we will recall, on the night of November 2, ships and terminal facilities caught fire in the Russian port of Tuapse as a result of an attack by unknown drones.
