Tugboat is on fire in Kerch Strait: oil product leak observed

The consequences of the accident were recorded by satellite images, the causes of the ship’s fire are currently unknown.

A tugboat associated with the Russian Federation is on fire in the Russian port of Kavkaz on the Taman Peninsula (Krasnodar Territory). This is reported by the “Crimean Wind”.

The incident occurred on November 2. As a result of the fire, petroleum products spilled into the water. Russian officials have not yet commented on the accident.

Also, as USM reported, the previous day, Defense Intelligence fighters hit a tugboat of Russian reconnaissance divers in Sevastopol. The damage to the ship significantly limited the combat capabilities of the elite Russian unit.
