Two companies caught colluding in Izmail port tender

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has exposed a conspiracy of enterprises in the tender for the purchase of components for the Izmail port.

This is reported by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

Thus, on May 22, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine admitted that LLC “TRANSMORSERVICE” and LLC “GRADIENT SV” committed a conspiracy during participation in the tender for the purchase of sleepers, terminals, overlays, linings, etc.

This is a tender that the State Enterprise Izmail Commercial Sea Port held in 2023.

“During the consideration of the case, the Committee established circumstances that, taken together, indicate that the specified business entities at all stages of the preparation of tender proposals were aware of the participation of each of them, exchanged information and coordinated their behavior with each other, due to which competition between them was eliminated,” the report says.

For the conspiracy, the AMCU fined the companies a total of 2 million 380 thousand 353 UAH.

In particular, the department reminded that, according to the legislation, this may be grounds for denial of participation in public procurement for three years.

As previously reported by USM, the agroholding IMK will not sell its stake to Kernel – the deal was to be considered by the AMCU.
