Two illegal Russian LPG tankers spotted in Kerch port

In Kerch, gas tankers with erased identification and a train with grain cars were spotted – this is about the illegal export of resources from the occupied territories.

Russia continues to use the Kerch sea fishing port as a hub for the illegal export of Ukrainian resources from the occupied territories. This is evidenced by new photo and video materials published by journalists of “Krym.Realii”.

Two LPG tankers (note: transporting liquefied petroleum gas) were recorded at the Kerch gas terminal. One of the gas tankers has hidden identification data on the stern – a typical method of masking vessels participating in sanction-prohibited transportation.

Also, a train with grain cars was discovered at the grain terminal, which are probably preparing for loading.

Previously, Ukrainian grain was transported to the Middle East through this port, despite the international recognition of such actions as a violation of international law. These are products exported from the occupied regions of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression, Russia has been actively involving Crimean ports — Kerch, Sevastopol and Feodosia — for the transshipment of strategic cargoes. In addition to grain and gas, this also includes ilmenite for the Crimean Titan enterprise and various petroleum products, which violates both Ukrainian and international law.

The day before, USM reported that the Russians were creating multimodal hubs for military purposes and the export of Ukrainian resources in the occupied territories of Kherson region.
