UAE may join in strengthening security in the Black Sea, — Zelenskyy

Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates discussed possible cooperation to strengthen security in the Black Sea region.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced this in his Telegram channel following a conversation with the President of the UAE, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Zelenskyy, the parties discussed how the Emirates can help Ukraine in Europe, in particular in the Black Sea region.
“This is about food security, the security of sea lanes and increasing the ability to protect lives,” the president said.

Zelenskyy also thanked the UAE president for understanding the situation and supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace and strengthening security.
In addition, the parties discussed bilateral projects in various fields. The president did not provide any other details regarding the possible assistance of the UAE in the Black Sea.
Earlier, USM reported that the government is preparing crop-secured loans for farmers due to the suspension of sea exports.
