UAE ready to invest in Ukrainian ports: meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission expected

The parties agreed to accelerate economic cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in key infrastructure sectors.
At the UN Conference on International Cooperation, a meeting was held between the Ukrainian delegation and the UAE Minister of State Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal informed.
The central topic of the negotiations was the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
The United Arab Emirates expressed interest in concession projects in Ukrainian port infrastructure, as well as in the agricultural sector. In addition, the parties agreed to develop cooperation in the IT and space technologies sectors.
Earlier, USM wrote that some companies from the United Arab Emirates are ready to invest in the development of Ukrainian ports and grain transshipment.
