“Ukrainian Danube Shipping” opened tenders for the transportation of agricultural products by barges from the ports of Reni and Izmail.
“UDS has always been a supporter of a predictable, but market-based and transparent tariff formation mechanism. In view of the very high number of applications from customers, we are putting the services of transportation of agricultural products to tender for July,” said the acting director. general director of UDS Dmytro Moskalenko.
Moskalenko added that the demand for transportation of agricultural products from the Ukrainian Danube ports to Constanta is currently returning, “because this is the most stable logistics direction.”
The first auctions will be held on June 29. According to the tenders, grain is planned to be transported from the ports of Reni or Izmail to the ports of Constanta (Romania) or the Bulgarian ports of Ruse and Silistra.
