UDS plans to open a new transshipment complex in Izmail
“Ukrainian Danube Shipping” is considering the possibility of expanding its grain transshipment complex. The company plans to open a new infrastructure in Izmail.
“Currently, the UDS is considering the prospect of scaling the transshipment direction. The opening of an even more powerful complex at another site of the enterprise in Izmail is being discussed,” the company noted .
In addition, according to the UDP, the transshipment complex of the enterprise is already increasing the volume of grain loading. In general, UDS envisages the creation of a grain hub that will ensure a stable cargo flow not only for the company’s river fleet, but also for UDS sea vessels.
“Fleet and logistics infrastructure, complex logistics chains under a single management – this is the European model of development, which our Romanian, Austrian and Hungarian colleagues believe in. UDP is moving along the same path,” the company summarized.
