UDS reported on economic indicators for 2022

Last year the profit of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company amounted to over UAH 1 billion.
The UDS has increased the amount of revenues to the state and local budgets five times — from UAH 107 million to UAH 464 million, the Acting Director General of UDS Dmytro Moskalenko said.
According to him, in 2021, the shipping industry was in the red (38 million hryvnias loss). In turn, in 2022, the company’s profit, taking into account subsidiaries, amounted to more than UAH 1 billion.
The company’s debts of UAH 209 million were also repaid. In addition, the financing of the fleet repair program was increased to UAH 134 million. The number of self-propelled fleet in operation increased from 19 to 24 units, non-self-propelled – from 184 to 200.
“The financial condition of the enterprise has been stabilized. The average salary increased from 11.4 to 23.3 thousand UAH. They also invested more than UAH 10 million in a transshipment complex in Kilia, the funds invested by the company have already returned,” concluded Dmytro Moskalenko.
