UDS will continue cooperation with the International Finance Corporation
On Tuesday, June 11, an agreement was signed in Berlin between the UDS and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the continuation of cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Alfonso García Mora, Vice President of IFC in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company reports.
“Thanks to the consulting support of our partners, we have prepared the shipping industry for interaction with international investors. Our colleagues very positively evaluate the work on the implementation of the company’s corporate reform,” the message reads.
The launch of the modernization of the first pilot batch of vessels also received favorable reviews.
“We have shown that it is possible to transform the old fleet into a modern, energy-efficient and ecological one. We have every chance to successfully implement the fleet modernization program,” concluded the UDS.
It will be recalled that cooperation between UDS and IFC started a year ago at a recovery conference in London.
