Ukraine and Egypt plan to open new food hubs in African countries
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi the issue of food security and the opening of food hubs in Africa.
“Had a conversation with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. They talked about strengthening food security and cooperation in Ukraine’s opening of food hubs in Africa, the importance of continuing the grain initiative. We supported the goals and principles of the UN Charter, in particular the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in Telegram.
Previously, USM reported that a logistics hub could be created in Egypt for the supply of Ukrainian grain.
