Ukraine coordinated the process of confiscation of Russian assets with partners
The Ukrainian government continues to negotiate with allied countries to speed up the process of confiscating Russian assets.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal coordinated work with international partners regarding the confiscation of Russian assets. Zelenskyy announced this in an evening video message.
“We continue to communicate at all levels: official, expert, and public, in order to speed up all the necessary decisions,” the president emphasized. — To every manifestation of Russian madness and terror, no matter what they are, the best response is losses for the terrorist state. Their losses are painful and palpable. The more losses there are for the perpetrator of the war, the closer we will be able to bring peace back.”
It will be recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, about 300 billion dollars of Russian assets have been blocked in the partner states of Ukraine.
Also last November, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the sale of seized assets abroad.
Recently, USM wrote that 4 more companies that illegally traded Russian oil came under US sanctions.
