Ukraine exported more than 22 million tons of grain this season
As of December 31, Ukraine has exported 22.6 million tons of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the 2022/2023 MR.
In particular, in December, the volume of grain exports amounted to 4.7 million tons, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.
During the same period last season, Ukraine exported 32.19 million tons of grain, including 6.1 million tons in December.
This season, 12.5 million tons of corn, 8.38 million tons of wheat, and 1.6 million tons of barley were exported from Ukraine. Export volumes of Ukrainian flour amounted to 68.3 thousand tons, including 64.9 million tons of wheat.
Ukraine exported most of the grain through the “grain corridor” — 16 million tons. In 150 days (since August 1), 605 ships with food left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi. In particular, in December, 100 ships with 3.6 million tons of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports.
