Ukraine exported more than 34 million tons of grain in the current season


In March, 4.529 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were exported from Ukraine.

As of Wednesday, March 27, since the beginning of the 2023/24 MR, Ukraine exported 34.199 million tons of agricultural products. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

Of these, 4.529 million tons were shipped in March of this year. As of the same date last year, the total shipment figure was 36.922 million tons, of which 4.625 million tons were shipped in March.

In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following have been exported:

• wheat – 13.504 million tons (in 2022/23 MR – 12.623 million tons);

• barley – 1.957 million tons (2.267 million tons);

• rye – 1 thousand tons (16.9 thousand tons);

• corn – 18.447 million tons (21.714 million tons).

As previously reported by USM, 5 European countries are calling for a ban on the import of Russian grain to the EU.
