Ukraine exported over 1 million tons of wheat to Africa
In December, Ukraine exported more than 1 million tons of wheat to African countries.
“For December, Ukraine increased wheat supplies to African countries from 24% to 25.08%, which is more than 1 million tons of the total amount,” the Ministry of Agricultural Policy reported.
In general, in December, food shipments to countries on the brink of famine increased by 138,000 tons.
As of December 14, 554 ships with 13.9 million tons of agricultural products left Ukraine within the framework of the “grain corridor”, of which 4 million tons were wheat and 5.9 million tons were corn.
During the last two weeks, the increase in shipments was 1.6 million tons, of which 399,000 tons of wheat and 911,000 tons of corn.
On December 14, another 4 vessels with agricultural products left the ports of Odesa for Asian countries. Currently, 22 ships are being processed in the ports of Great Odesa, on which 730 thousand tons of agricultural products will be loaded. Another 6 ships should arrive at Ukrainian ports in the near future.
