Ukraine has arrested 68 vessels of the Russian “shadow fleet” in the last five years

From December 2024 to the present, Ukraine has arrested three vessels, two of which were transferred to the ARMA.

The third vessel was detained on December 6, 2025, and a large amount of evidence of the Russian Federation’s involvement in the “shadow fleet” was found on it.
“We found a list of the vessel’s crew, maps with the image of Sevastopol, with the coordinates of Sevastopol, Russian permits. As of today, the vessel has been arrested. In the near future, it will become the third to be transferred to the ARMA,” Vitaliy Sekretar noted.

As previously reported by USM, the SBU arrested a vessel operating in the interests of the Russian Federation in the port of Odesa. The vessel entered the temporarily occupied Sevastopol at least seven times, from where it carried out illegal transportation of agricultural products in the interests of the Russian Federation.
