Ukraine has become the largest arms importer in Europe.

In 2019-2023, Ukraine became the largest arms importer in Europe, DW  reports.

This is evidenced by the data of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

As for the export of weapons, the first position is confidently held by the USA. In 2019-2023, the United States supplied major weapons to 107 countries of the world.

In general, American weapons account for 55% of imports by European states in 2019-2023. This is 20% higher than the indicators of 2014-2018.

As for Russia, its arms exports have almost halved in recent years. In the ranking of arms suppliers, the aggressor country was overtaken by France.

Earlier, USM reported that 21 ambulances for the Armed Forces arrived from Singapore to the Polish port of Gdansk. The equipment will soon go to Ukraine.

It will be recalled that the Swedish government agreed on the transfer of 30 landing craft for the Armed Forces.
