Ukraine has exported almost 11 million tons of grain since the beginning of the season
Since the beginning of the 2022/2023 fiscal year, Ukraine has exported almost 11 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
As of October 17, Ukraine sent 10.812 million tons of grain and leguminous crops to foreign markets. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service.
On the same date last season, exports from Ukraine amounted to 16.536 million tons.
Despite the war, the volume of grain exports in October is almost the same as last year’s – 2.119 million tons of grain against 2.172 million tons in October last year.
Corn remains the leader in shipments: in October, Ukraine exported 1.035 million tons of grain.
In general, since the beginning of the season, Ukraine has exported:
• corn — 5.879 million tons;
• wheat — 3.998 million tons;
• barley — 896,000 tons;
• rye — 4.7 thousand tons.
Ukraine has also exported 30.6 thousand tons of flour since the beginning of 2022/2023. Last season, this figure was 39.3 thousand tons.
