Ukraine has improved its Black Sea demining capabilities

Ukraine has improved its capabilities in demining the waters of the Black Sea. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
A big role in the liberation of the Black Sea from explosive objects was played by the support of Germany, which transferred special equipment for detecting mines.
Also, in 2025, Ukraine plans to receive three more anti-mine vessels. Now the state has only two such.
In total, since the beginning of the year, sappers conducted a non-technical survey of 59 territorial communities and identified 235 sq. km as potentially polluted. Humanitarian demining continues at 282 sites with a total area of 17.5 square meters. km, of which 7.23 sq. km have already been transferred to communities.
