Ukraine has reached pre-war indicators of export of agricultural products

Ukraine reached the pre-war level of export of grain and oil crops. In September, the state exported 6.9 million tons of agricultural products.

“I would like to confirm the effectiveness and correctness of the decision to conclude “grain agreements” with our partners from Turkey and the UN. We saw quite good dynamics in August, but in September this figure surprised us. If we take our alternative routes as an example, we have 6.9 million tons of exports for September. In other words, we reached the pre-war level,” Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council Denys Marchuk said during the briefing.

For comparison, Ukraine exported 1.7 million tons of agricultural products through the large ports of Odesa in August, and 3.8 million tons in September.

Let’s emphasize that on November 19, the previous period of validity of the “grain agreements” will expire. Ukraine fulfilled the main task during this time — increased exports. Now it is important that the “grain corridor” continues to work.
