Ukraine imported almost 6 million tons of oil products since the beginning of the year
In January-October 2022, Ukraine imported 5.8 million tons of petroleum products (gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, jet fuel, and others).
Such imports are 13.1% less than in the same period last year (6.67 million tons), the State Customs Service reported.
Oil products were imported in the amount of $6.88 billion, which is 70.2% more than in January-October 2021 ($4.04 billion).
Fuel was imported from Belarus for $793.51 million (pre-war period, share – 11.53%), from India – for $755.72 million (10.98%), from Poland – for $635.01 million (9.22%) , from other countries – by $4.7 billion (68.27%).
In addition, Ukraine exported 56.07 thousand tons (-80% to January-October 2021) of petroleum products for a total amount of $66.41 million (-59.4%) in 10 months.
The value of export of petroleum products to Lithuania is $16.4 million, to Turkey – $11.54 million, to Estonia – $6.02 million, to other countries – $32.45 million.
Last year, Ukraine imported 8.79 million tons of oil products, writes enkorr. This is 9.6% more than in 2020 (8.02 million tons).
