Ukraine keeps “in sight” the port of Ust-Luga, which is one of the key ones for oil exports from Russia, — Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the SBU, which caused significant damage to the Russian oil terminal in Primorsk, and also assured that Ukrainians are also “keeping an eye” on the port of Ust-Luga.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his evening address.

“The most effective sanctions – the sanctions that act the fastest – are fire on Russian oil refineries, their terminals, and oil depots. They have significantly limited the Russian oil industry, and this significantly limits the war. The Russian war is actually a function of oil, a function of gas, and all other Russian energy resources,” the president noted.

Zelenskyy thanked the special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine, who “have worked very efficiently in Primorsk the past few days.”

“Russia’s largest oil terminal on the Baltic Sea. There is significant damage, everything has been checked. And this is noticeable to the enemy. Our special forces are also keeping an eye on the port of Ust-Luga and all other Russian points of entry to the world market,” the President of Ukraine added.

He also noted that Ukraine is constantly expanding the range of weapons it produces and uses.

Earlier, USM said that the attack by Ukrainian drones for the first time led to the suspension of oil shipments at the port of Primorsk in northwestern Russia.
