Ukraine reminded foreign partners of the danger in the Black Sea

Ukraine recalled that it is impossible to talk about the safety of transport in the Black Sea while Russian troops are there.

On Tuesday, March 15th, a meeting of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) took place. It should consider issues of transport communication in the Black Sea region, reports Ukrinform.

Ukraine stated that discussion of Black Sea shipping is not appropriate due to Russian aggression and danger in the region. At the same time, the representative of the Russian Federation insisted on considering the agenda and “non-politicization of the process.”

“Discussions at the OBSEC platform on intermodal transportation are possible only after the end of the war and the victory of Ukraine. What kind of security in the Black Sea region can we talk about when Russia shells the peaceful Mariupol and other cities of Ukraine?” Roman Nedilsky, representative of Ukraine to the BSEC, said.
