Ukraine supplies food for 600 million people in the world, — Ministry of Agrarian Policy
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy stated that Ukraine supplies food for 600 million people in the world.
Minister of Agricultural Policy Vitalii Koval met with the newly appointed head of the FAO Office in Ukraine, Mohammed Azuka.
Koval thanked the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) for the constant support of Ukrainian agricultural producers.
The minister also noted that Ukraine, despite the war, today ensures the food security of other countries. In particular, it supplies products for 600 million people in the world. Therefore, Minagro agreed with FAO to jointly analyze support programs for Ukrainian farmers in order to synchronize and strengthen them.
USM previously reported that the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and USAID will provide farmers with sleeves for grain storage.
