Ukraine took 9th place in the top list of world wheat producers

Ukraine entered the top 10 world wheat producers, but dropped two points.

This year, the wheat harvest in Ukraine amounted to 20.5 million tons of wheat, while in 2021, 33.01 million tons were harvested. This was influenced by the full-scale war started by russia. Therefore, in the top 10, Ukraine took 9th place according to the yahoo!Finance rating. yahoo!Finance.

The total wheat acreage in 2022 amounted to 220 million hectares, of which 53% are in developed regions of the world, and 50% of the entire world crop was harvested there. So, 70% of wheat was used for food, 20% for animal feed, and the rest for industrial needs.
