Ukraine will create a state-owned enterprise for trade missions in Africa
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the creation of a state-owned company in Ukraine that will deal with issues of trade missions in African countries.
The government has agreed to the proposal of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to establish the Ukrainian-African Trade Mission LLC, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said .
The authorized capital of the company is UAH 1,000, 100% owned by the state. The authority to manage corporate rights is exercised by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
This Mission will operate on a permanent basis to ensure Ukraine’s foreign economic interests in African countries and support the process of providing humanitarian aid in them by providing advisory services.
USM previously reported that Ukraine will include Mozambique in the list of countries that receive Ukrainian grain as part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will open an embassy in Mozambique to make bilateral relations mutually beneficial. The department noted that strengthening ties with African countries brings great political and economic opportunities for Ukraine.
