Ukraine will increase the volume of exports of agricultural products to African and Asian countries
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution according to which the volume of humanitarian aid in the form of grain, which Ukraine provides to African and Asian countries, was increased by 21,000 metric tons.
“In particular, the terms of delivery of humanitarian aid goods have been changed from CIF to FOB, and the volume of purchases of wheat and/or corn has been increased by 21,000 metric tons,” said Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
Melnychuk added that the government made relevant changes to Resolution No. 1313 “On the provision of humanitarian aid to the countries of Africa and Asia” in order to settle the issue of purchase, delivery and payment for the transportation of wheat grain and/or corn grain to the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Yemen, the Republic of Kenya and the Federal Republic Nigeria.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 1313, which instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service to supply wheat and corn in a total volume of up to 125 thousand metric tons to the countries of Africa and Asia as humanitarian aid.
