Ukraine will participate in the 34th session of the IMO: Zelenskyy approved the composition of the delegation

Zelenskyy approved the delegation of Ukraine to participate in the session of the International Maritime Organization Assembly in London.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Order No. 126/2025-rp on the creation of a delegation of Ukraine to participate in the 34th session of the IMO Assembly, which will be held from November 24 to December 3, 2025 in London.
The document was published on the official website of the head of state. The delegation will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom and Permanent Representative to the IMO Valeriy Zaluzhny was appointed Deputy Head of the delegation.
The delegation also included:
• Andriy Kashuba, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development;
• Mykola Kravchuk, Head of the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine;
• Alena Shkrum, First Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development;
• Lyudmila Andrienko, Advisor to the International Cooperation Department of the Department of International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
• Yaroslav Moshkola, Advisor to the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, Deputy Permanent Representative to the IMO.
The head of the delegation is allowed to make changes to the composition in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to involve experts if necessary. The President also approved the directives of the Ukrainian delegation for participation in the work of the IMO (the document is marked “for official use”) and authorized the delegation to participate in negotiations and decision-making during the session.
As USM reported, earlier the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the IMO discussed the growing activity of Russian tankers subject to sanctions.
