Ukraine will receive ships for the security of the maritime corridor

Ukraine has agreed with its partners to receive ships that will escort civilian vessels in the Black Sea.

The creation of a new “grain corridor” without Russia is one of the biggest achievements for 2023. Currently, Ukraine is working to secure ships that travel through this corridor. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Ukrainian Pravda about this at the Grain from Ukraine conference.

“We have agreed with our partners and will accompany the ships at sea to ensure their safety,” Zelenskyy said. — We already have specific agreements on receiving ships. This is a matter of the near future.”

The Odesa region will also be protected by additional air defense systems.
