Ukrainian delegation from USPA visited the Port of Gdansk and the Baltic Hub terminal


During the meeting, representatives of the USPA and the Port of Gdansk agreed to prepare a Memorandum of Cooperation between the ports.

As part of the BALTEXPO 2025 International Exhibition, a working visit was held by a delegation of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” and the Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “USPA” to the Port Authority of Gdansk (Poland), the press service of the department reported.

The delegation got acquainted with the work of one of the most dynamic ports in the EU, visited the water area and inspected infrastructure projects, in particular the Baltic Hub container terminal, which is being expanded to a capacity of 4.5 million TEU.

“The parties discussed areas of further cooperation, namely, on the part of the State Enterprise “USPA” – exchange of experience in the functioning of the port under martial law and a difficult security situation. From the Polish side, the experience of strategic planning for the development of the port of Gdansk until 2060, as well as approaches to international cooperation and integration into European logistics supply chains and cargo transit,” the report says.

In particular, as a result of the negotiations, it was agreed to continue work on the preparation of a Memorandum of Cooperation between sister ports (in the Sister Ports format) – Odesa and Gdansk.
