Ukrainian drones hit Lukoil oil depot (video)

After several hits, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.
On the night of September 12, drones attacked an oil depot in the village of Kardymovo, Smolensk region, owned by Lukoil. This was reported in the Cyber Flour community.
Analysts identified the attack site from eyewitness videos, recording at least two direct hits. Flames were visible from a great distance, and locals reported strong explosions.

At least nine fuel tanks burned as a result of the attack. This is not the first strike on this oil depot: in the spring of 2024, Ukrainian drones almost completely destroyed the facility – then only two of the 16 tanks survived.

The facility belongs to Lukoil-Tsentrnefteproduct LLC. Despite the work of Russian air defenses, which, according to official statements, allegedly shot down more than 40 drones in the region that night, the attack resulted in further losses for Russian fuel infrastructure.
Also that night, drones attacked the port of Primorsk, which is one of the key terminals for exporting Russian oil.
