Ukrainian exports of grains and oilseeds reached $11 billion this season


In seven months, exports of grain and oilseeds from Ukraine increased by 13.4%.

The statistics were published by the Ukrainian Grain Association (UZA).

Total exports of grain and oilseeds from Ukraine for the period July-January 2024/25 MY reached $11 billion. This is 13.4% more than in the same period of the previous year, when the figure was $9.7 billion.

Among grain crops, the largest export was corn – $2.412 billion versus $2.098 billion last season. Wheat exports amounted to $2.084 billion (compared to $1.488 billion), and barley – $350 million (versus $212 million).

In turn, in the oilseeds segment, soybean supplies increased – to $909 million ($718 million last year) and rapeseed – to $1.452 billion ($1.145 billion). At the same time, sunflower seed exports decreased to $22 million from $57 million.

Of processed products, during this period, Ukraine reduced exports of sunflower oil to $2.701 billion from $2.777 billion, meal to $682 million from $774 million, and other vegetable oils to $393 million compared to $438 million in the previous season.
