Ukrainian grain companies maintain their positions in the ports of Great Odesa

Prices for the main grain and oilseed crops on the basis of CPT Odesa remained at the level of the previous week.

On the domestic market of Ukraine, there is a general stabilization of prices for grain and oilseed crops. This is reported by Spike Brokers.

Most positions have retained their previous quotes, minor dynamics were recorded only in the rapeseed segment.

Under the terms of delivery of CPT Odesa, export prices remained unchanged:

• corn — 204 USD/t;

• wheat 11.5% protein — 221 USD/t;

• feed wheat — 208 USD/t;

• GMO soybeans — 390 USD/t.

Thus, after several weeks of minor fluctuations, the grain market has demonstrated complete price stability, which may indicate a balance between trader demand and the available volumes of the new harvest.

Point changes are observed in the processing sector. According to the index:

• GMO soybeans – $439/t (including VAT) – unchanged;

• rapeseed – $596/t (including VAT) – +$2;

• sunflower – $676/t (including VAT) – –$1.

Experts attribute the increase in the cost of rapeseed against the background of a slight decrease in the price of sunflower to the activation of export contracts for rapeseed oil and moderate demand from processing plants in the southern regions.

The day before, USM wrote that the ports of Great Odesa have handled over 146 million tons of cargo since the start of the sea corridor.
