Ukrainian ports are steadily increasing container turnover, — AMEU


In the first half of 2025 (January-June), Ukrainian seaports processed 96,298 TEU.

This was reported by the Association of International Forwarders of Ukraine (AMEU).

“Despite the war, shelling and numerous challenges of global logistics, Ukrainian ports show stable growth in container turnover. According to information available to AMEU, in the first half of 2025 (January-June), Ukrainian seaports processed 96,298 TEU,” the report says.

Of these:

• Export — 48,716 TEU

• Import — 44,495 TEU

• Transit — 3,087 TEU.

It should be noted that the largest number of containers was exported at the port of Chornomorsk – 33,675 TEU, while the port of Odessa exported 15,041 TEU. Regarding imports, the port of Chornomorsk imported 31,703 TEU, the port of Odesa – 12,771 TEU, the port of Reni – 21 TEU. 3,079 TEU passed through the port of Odessa in transit, and 8 TEU through the port of Chornomorsk.

As previously reported by USM, in July 2025, the port of Chornomorsk was the first to accept a liner container ship.
