Ukrainian ports handled over 82 million tons of cargo in 2025

The planned cargo turnover indicators for the year were fulfilled by more than 95%.
This was reported by the USPA press service.
As noted in the department, according to the plan, the cargo turnover of seaports for 2025 was determined at the level of 86.2 million tons.
The actual result was 82.2 million tons, which is 95.36% of the plan, and the forecast cargo turnover indicator (81.769 million tons) was fulfilled by 100.5%.
The key basis of cargo turnover in 2025 remained agricultural products – 44.2 million tons, or 53.7% of the total volume. Container transportation showed significant growth: 215,748 TEU were processed during the year compared to 129,902 TEU a year earlier. Export cargo was delivered to 55 countries of the world.
“A separate challenge in 2025 was massive air raids and attacks on port infrastructure. In the Odessa region alone, the air raid signal was announced more than 800 times, and the total duration of downtime was more than 1 month — minus a month before the operational work of the ports,” the USPA noted.
