Ukrainian ports processed almost 60 million tons

Last year, the ports of Great Odesa processed only 34.4 million tons of cargo during the same period (7 months).

In January-July 2024, the ports of Ukraine processed 59.9 million tons of cargo, reports State Enterprise “USPA”.

In 2023, only 34.4 million tons were processed during the same period.

“This indicator is almost equal to the volume of transshipment for 12 months of 2023 (62 million tons),” the report says.

In general for July 2024:

•⁠ ⁠7 million tons were transshipped, which is 2.2 times more than the similar indicator for 2023.

•⁠ 4.2 million tons of agricultural products were exported to 46 countries of the world.

It will be recalled that on August 2, the government adopted a decision that will allow attracting 50 million euros of support from the EU for the repair and development of Ukrainian port infrastructure.
