Ukrainian wheat is getting cheaper: prices in ports have dropped by another $6–11/t

In ports, food wheat fell in price to $202–209/t, feed wheat to $188–199/t CPT-port.

The Ukrainian wheat market maintained a downward price trend last week. This was reported by APK-Inform Agency.

“The pressure factors remained unchanged — these are the corresponding dynamics in the grain export market, the beginning of the harvest in the country, and the slowdown in trade and purchasing activity. Demand from some processors remained quite high, which is why they did not significantly change prices. However, farmers were mostly in no hurry to sell quality wheat, expecting a more favorable price situation in the market,” analysts note.

Prices for grade 2 wheat and feed decreased by 100–500 UAH/t per week and formed within the range of 9,200–10,700 UAH/t and 8,500–10,000 UAH/t CPT, respectively. Minimum demand prices were typical for new harvest wheat.

In Ukrainian ports, food and feed wheat fell by $6–11/t — to $202–209/t and $188–199/t CPT-port.
