“Ukrferry” restores the Chornomorsk-Batumi ferry service

From July, the shipping company “Ukrferry” plans to resume flights from the port of Chornomorsk to Batumi.

The updated flight schedule was published on the company’s website.

So, from July 2, the Kaunas ferry will start plying from the port of Chornomorsk to Batumi (Sarkatvelo, formerly Georgia).

The duration of the flight will be approximately three days or 60 hours.

Kaunas is a cargo-passenger ship built in 1989 in Germany. Deadweight is 7,665 tons, gross capacity is 256 registration tons. Passenger capacity — 250 people.

We will remind that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the Chornomorsk – Batumi ferry service has been suspended.

As previously reported by USM, on June 17, another vessel with containers began operating on the Maersk service between the ports of Chornomorsk and Constanta.
