Ukrzaliznytsia introduced a convention for cargo transportation to Poland
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” introduced a convention for cargo transportation to two Polish stations.
The convention applies to the transportation of goods to the Wola-Baranowska and Staszów stations (Poland) through the Izów-Hrubeszów border crossing, the UZ reported.
Restrictions apply from January 24 to January 31. They apply to all cargoes and consignees.
But there are two exceptions. The UZ allowed the transportation of goods for ArcelorMittal Poland S.A. Also, the convention does not apply to the transportation of sugar and sugar products to the Volya-Baranowska station.
Previously, USM reported that UZ intends to build 120 grain trucks for 1520 and 1435 mm tracks.
According to the director of the department of commercial work of UZ Gennadii Maidanyk, the recently presented hopper wagons for transportation on tracks of 1520 and 1435 mm are currently being tested.
