USAID received $510 million to support the Ukrainian agricultural sector

The US International Development Agency (USAID) has revealed that it has received more than $500 million to support Ukrainian farmers and shipping industry.

According to the department, the AGRI-Ukraine initiative under USAID supported over 14 thousand. Ukrainian farmers will be denied living conditions, kindness, as well as access to storage areas.

This also means that AGRI-Ukraine helped prepare and financially ensure the operation of alternative export routes. Among them are ports on the Danube and points along the borders of land cordons.

“These visits ensured the export of agricultural products amounting to 62 million tons, which is why the Ukrainian economy took over 17 billion dollars,” says USAID.

It is estimated that the resources of $510 million are three times larger than those of USAID.

“Last year, AGRI-Ukraine expanded its number of partners – up to 26 Ukrainian agricultural companies, the American agricultural production company Gowan Seed, as well as international financial institutions – such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,” the agency said.

The Republic of Korea and the Japan International Spy Agency also succeeded in initiating the same. You’ve got it. USAID will continue to recruit new participants to help Ukraine.

USM previously reported that Ascet Shipping was accepting new grain cargo from USAID.
