USPA announces tender for repair of pier in Odesa damaged by Russian shelling

The Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” announced a tender for the repair of the berth of the Odesa sea port, which was damaged during the missile attack by the Russian Federation on March 11, 2025.

As noted by the USPA, the berth suffered significant damage, the coating was destroyed, the crane tracks were deformed, and the engineering networks were damaged – this partially limited its operation. The repair involves replacing damaged structural elements, restoring the infrastructure, and ensuring the full functioning of the berth.

“Starting from the summer of 2023, Russian shelling has damaged about 400 objects of the port infrastructure of Ukraine. The berth in the port of Odesa is one of many critical objects that require prompt restoration to ensure the uninterrupted operation of sea ports,” the USPA noted.

The expected cost of the work is UAH 3.85 million, and the repair itself is planned to be completed during 2025 without stopping port operations.

Previously, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration announced a tender for the supply of a front-end loader within the framework of the international RELINC project.
