USPA will install additional mobile shelters in ports

Mobile shelters will be installed in the ports of Great Odesa, the ports of the Danube and the Mykolaiv region by the end of 2025.
The scale of the territories, the specifics of the work and the short time of the approach of ballistic missiles require additional solutions, Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported.
Currently, stationary protective structures and a certain number of mobile shelters are already operating in the ports. At the same time, the scale of the territories, the specifics of the work and the short time of the approach of ballistic missiles require additional solutions. Mobile shelters will be installed in the ports of Great Odesa, the ports of the Danube and the Mykolaiv region.
“The safety of our employees is a key condition for the stable operation of the industry. New shelters will allow us to quickly respond to danger, reduce the time of access to protective structures and protect people on whom the daily functioning of critical infrastructure depends,” the USPA noted.
The USPA added that 10 additional modular shelters were recently installed in the Odesa port with the assistance of the Ukrainian Foundation Charitable Fund. They are located directly near the work stations so that port workers can quickly receive protection.
As previously reported by USM, at the end of August 2025, the Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “USPA” installed a new modular shelter in the port of Odesa with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross. The new structure was placed near the central passage, next to the Permit Bureau.
