USPA will repair the overpass in the Odesa port for UAH 31 million

The Odesa branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” announced a tender for the final stage of the reconstruction of the second stage of the transport overpass.
The expected cost of the reconstruction work amounted to UAH 31.38 million, the “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” reports.
The department emphasized that the reconstruction is necessary due to restrictions on the operation of the structure caused by its technical condition.
“The project involves laying a new reinforced concrete slab, waterproofing, applying a protective and leveling layer, asphalt concrete coating, installing a drainage system and anti-corrosion coating on the railing,” the USPA said.
The work will be carried out in accordance with the updated project documentation, which received a positive conclusion from the state examination in May 2025.
It should be noted that the completion of the reconstruction is scheduled for 2025. Upon completion, the overpass will be fully reopened, allowing freight traffic to reach the port’s transshipment terminals.
As previously reported by USM, in June, the USPA began repairs to four berths at the Port of Reni.
