UZ increases the volume of transportation of grain cargoes by rail to Romania
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” continues to increase the volume of transfer of grain cargoes through border crossings with Romania.
This information was provided by Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the company’s commercial work department, Rail.insider. reports.
Currently, 114.8 wagons with grain cargoes are transferred through the Ukrainian-Romanian junctions. This is almost 7 cars more than last week.
At the same time, the indicators of grain transfer through the border crossings with Poland and Slovakia decreased. Currently, Polish carriers accept 91 wagons with grain per day against 105 last week. In addition, 76.7 wagons per day are transferred through Ukrainian-Slovak crossings. The indicator decreased by almost 7 cars.
As for the transfer of grain through the crossings with Hungary, the volume has actually not changed and amounts to 89 wagons per day.
