UZ received UAH 1.3 billion for the use of seized assets of russian federation and Belarus

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” received 1.3 billion in income from the commercial use of seized railway cars and containers belonging to russian and Belarusian companies.

The prosecutor’s office ensured the realization of seized assets and proceeds to ARMA and “Ukrzaliznytsia” in the total amount of UAH 1.5 billion.

In the Prosecutor General’s Office, ARMA’s deposit accounts were replenished by UAH 579.3 million from the sale of seized goods and tangible assets of companies resident in russia and Belarus.

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” received UAH 1.3 billion in revenue thanks to the commercial use of seized railway wagons and containers belonging to these companies.

The property was seized at the request of the prosecutors to compensate for the damages caused to the state and possible confiscation of the property, in criminal proceedings on the fact of willful tax evasion.

Later, based on the rulings of investigative judges, the seized property was handed over to the ARMA administration. Pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
