Vessel traffic temporarily restricted in the waters of the port of Chornomorsk

Special measures are planned on the approach channel to ensure shipping safety.

Temporary restrictions on vessel traffic have been introduced in the port of Chornomorsk due to the increased danger caused by the military actions of the Russian Federation. The corresponding letter from the Chornomorsk Sea Port Authority to maritime agents, towing companies and port operators has been received by USM.

Shipowners were urged to coordinate their departure from the port with the Coordination Center in advance and confirm the absence of claims in case of possible restrictions.

At the same time, freight broker and founder of MB Navigation S.A. Konstantin Sobol noted that for vessels to enter Chornomorsk, captains must now send a letter confirming that they are aware of all the risks.

The day before, USM reported that the first concession project during the Great War had been launched in the port of Chornomorsk.
