Vessel with stolen Ukrainian grain heading from occupied Crimea to Turkey


The dry cargo ship “Mys Zhelaniya” under the Russian flag loaded over 15 thousand tons of grain in occupied Sevastopol.

From February 22 to March 3, the dry cargo ship “Mys Zhelaniya” (IMO:9366110) loaded 15,088 tons of wheat in occupied Sevastopol. The ship is heading to the Turkish port of Iskenderun.

“The loading at the Avlita grain terminal was recorded on satellite images at the location: 44.6248, 33.5521. The fumigation was carried out by the state laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “TsOK APC” from Simferopol, Olenchuk Street, 52. The website of the Crimean laboratory indicates that it has a confirmed status of the International Association for the Trade of Grain and Feed (GAFTA),” Kateryna Yaresko noted.

In particular, it is known that the exporter is LLC PARTNERSTVO (TIN: 2311288071).

The portal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation War&Sanctions states that the vessel belongs to the sanctioned Russian leading construction company LLC Transstroy, which operates in the Arctic and northern regions of Russia for the implementation of large-scale energy facilities of the Russian Federation. Among the customers are PJSC Lukoy, PJSC Novatek, PJSC Severalmaz, PJSC AK Alrosa, the state corporation Rosatom, JSC Rosgeologiya, JSC Expedition No. 2, JSC Sovfrakht and others.

The vessel is also affiliated with the sanctioned Russian company LLC Eco Shipping, which carries out transportation related to the construction of infrastructure facilities in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, in particular for the project Arctic LNG-2 of the sanctioned company Novatek.

In May 2024, the US imposed sanctions on ships of Transstroy LLC.
